I like fast cars a bit, and Horticulture, and Science, and building things... I tend to re-design a lot of things I own.. Like one of my cars that I dropped a 400 cu. in. (6.6 Liter) police engine, bigger transmission, different rear-axle, and a Hurst shifter into. Or the 386SX 20MHz computer that I gutted, cut, rebuilt, and fitted a totally different motherboard and power supply into. The only original parts in it are the 3.5" floppy drive, and the 5 1/4 ancient floppy drive. I thought that the doorbell button I used for a power switch would be a nice touch.
......................................................... During the time that I was in Technical training for the Air National Guard, I took a model rocket kit and turned it into a rocket car. It was perfectly stable, even when it wasn't touching the old runway.
Photographs were taken by aiming the camera about three feet ahead of the car, and clicking the pic when the rocket motor made its "SSSSSSSSSS!!!" noise. It took about 1/2 second to travel 50 feet. I think calculations showed that it hit around 200 mph. :-D

Just after Christmas 2005, I saw some shows on Public Access Television in Duluth, MN, regarding 9/11. One of the best was titled, "Hijacking Catastrophe: 9/11, Fear & Selling the American Empire".
Roger Ebert reviewed it on October 15, 2004... and gave it 3 stars (out of 4). It charges that America is in the hands of radicals at the right-wing extreme of the Republican Party, and that the invasion of Iraq has been a goal of the NEOCONs, as written in their "Project for the New American Century" since the early 1990s. It chillingly said that it would be hard to sell a pre-emptive strike on Iraq to the American people, unless a "catastrophic event -- like a new Pearl Harbor" made it SEEM necessary.
The movie charges "that the neocon insurgents envision an "American colossus" that stands "astride the world," makes its own policies and disdains cooperation with the family of nations. We went into Iraq without U.N. backing not because we had to, the movie argues, but because we wanted to; it was a good way to weaken the organization. By the same token, budget deficits are useful because they will bankrupt programs such as Social Security and Medicare that the neo-cons oppose but cannot destroy through conventional legislation."

The first launch didn't go straight up... it needed an elevator adjustment. The next launch it flew perfectly: straight up, slight time delay, the motor ejected from the built-in ejection charge, then the elevators angled slightly up, it made a loop and then settled into a perfect glide back to earth. I dunno how high it went, but it glided a heck of a long way. After a good walk,I got it back ok.

Barry Jennings, trapped in building No.7 for 4 hours. was an emergency coordinator for the New York Housing Authority. He has passed away at age 53 from circumstances not yet disclosed. Strangely enough, the NIST report denied that there were any explosions in Building Number 7.
Barry Jennings– now dead at 53– details his eyewitness account while trapped inside WTC7 on 9/11 in a 2007 interview. Jennings told reporters on the day of 9/11, as well as Loose Change cameras in 2007, that he heard repeated explosions inside the building before either Tower 1 or Tower 2 collapsed and testified that he was "stepping over dead bodies" while exiting the ‘blown-out’ lobby to WTC7.
It's very unusual that a prominent — and controversial– 9/11 witness would die only days before the release of NIST’s report on WTC7 and shortly after a firestorm erupted over his testimony that he heard explosions inside the building prior to collapse of either tower and that there were dead bodies in the building’s blown-out lobby.

I DID get a degree in Mechanical Engineering at the U of Minn, but I wasn't enough of a grownup to do well at that.. so I eventually tried going into Auto Mechanics, at which I did fairly well, but grew to dislike. When I took the ASE Mechanic Certification tests in all 8 areas of auto repair, of all the mechanics who tested that year, I had one of the top three scores in the USA. Having the degree in engineering was like cheating. :-P
I took a Fortran programming class at the U of Minn (they used paper punch cards to give the computer instructions way back then) a long time ago .. but never anything more than that in computers. I didn't even know how to run a PC or Windows 98 when someone gave me one in 1999.. but I learned how by trial and error, intuition, and a few books that I only resorted to when desperate. Since then, I have built several computers (I looked at a few computer parts catalogs and figured out how to build them, mostly from that) for myself and my relatives, and repaired and modified some for people I work with. I'm excellent at improvising. The first computer I built had motherboard spacers that I made from part of a Venetian blind, in it. That was because I didn't know where to get the parts I needed, at the time.
I don't handle crowds too well, they're too confusing. I do better talking with only one person, and I don't socialize all that well...normal conversation is kinda awkward for me... especially with females I'm attracted to, but I'm getting more at ease with age. I make one-liner jokes creatively, and can talk on my current subject(s) of interest pretty well, though I often talk at inconvenient times. A lot of people think of me as the professor type, by my knowledge and the way I speak... though my "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" T-shirt and Corona Beer T-shirts with pics of babes on the back, are a lil less than professorly. People often ask my advice on things I've taken an interest in. I tend not to drink much alcohol. It makes me feel yukky and makes my head hurt worse than usual. I've had a pet salamander for 11 years, and a dog named "Buffy" for 3 years. I spell quite well; nearly perfectly. I am currently a janitor, making approximately Zero bucks an hour.
I'm great at Googling for hours. I don't get bored, and by trying different variations of searches I often find the unfindable. A girl in Massachusetts said that I was the fastest she knows. I dunno about FAST, but I use intuition and knowledge that I already have, to find things pretty effectively. It also helps that I save almost everything I find interesting or useful. Just remember: anything can be relevant information. Like when Kaylie suddenly left the IM we were having when I told her that I had become a "Right to Read" teacher a long time ago, so I could try to teach my roommate how to read. Her sudden exit at that news was unusual, so I kept it in mind for five years or so. It turned out that her grandmother had started the "Right to Read" program in Duluth, so there WAS a connection.
I suppose my wanting to marry a lady in the 20 to 30 year old range is a bit odd, but at least I know it's fairly unrealistic. My ex-girlfriend/roommate who lives with me is bulimic and severely dyslexic. Sometimes the toilet gets moldy because she doesn't clean up after vomiting... for months. Gross. (Pics available.) I could clean it, but that'd be like 4 times a day. Let her do it.
She doesn't spend much time around here any more, and plans to move out after her Chapter 13 bankruptcy is paid off.

When a plane crashes into the ground, it is where it is. The debris field may cover a few city blocks, but it's pretty much in one place. Flight 93 had three debris fields, and covered about 8 square miles. One large bunch of debris hit 6 to 8 miles before the plane itself hit the ground.

It's interesting that Secretary of Defense Rumsfeld talked about "[the people who] SHOT DOWN THE PLANE IN PENNSYLVANIA." That'd pretty much account for the wide dispersal of the wreckage. As it passed over, mail from under the cockpit rained down 6 miles away from the hole in the ground that flight 93 made , and one person had to climb up on a boathouse to toss off a burning seat from flight 93, so the boathouse wouldn't burn down. ....................... As far as the story of a bomb... you know they "Investigate" plane crashes quite thoroughly, and there was never any mention of a bomb causing the crash. Anyone who watched the propaganda movie, "Flight 93" knows that there was no bomb... so a shoot down is the scenario that matches the evidence.
Which terrorists had jets at the time? I know of only one bunch that were in the US.
The audio tapes from Flight 93 were finally played for family members in April, 2002, but not before signing an agreement that they wouldn’t talk about it, in fact they couldn’t even take notes. And for some reason, the last 3 minutes of the tape was unaccounted for. What is on the last three minutes of Flight 93’s cockpit voice recorder? Could it have revealed the passengers' or pilots' reaction at being shot down by our own government? If the passengers DID prevent the plane from reaching its intended target, those behind the plot would want to tie up loose ends so the truth wouldn't come out. Dead men tell no tales.

..........................William Rodriguez was a hero on 9/11. He was the last man to come out of the Twin Towers alive. His key to doors in the stairwells and his knowledge of the buildings made it possible for hundreds of people to be rescued. He turned down millions of dollars and political positions that he was offered after 9/11, because he felt that it was his duty to tell the truth, and not help the government in their coverup.
In October 2004, Rodriguez sued the President of the United States and 155 other parties, accusing them of complicity in the 9/11 attacks.His 237-page civil lawsuit included allegations directed against The United States Of America, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the Department of Homeland Security, George Herbert Walker Bush, George Walker Bush, Richard Cheney, Donald H. Rumsfeld,and numerous others, totaling 156 defendants in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. In his lawsuit, Rodriquez made hundreds of allegations, including – but not limited to – allegations that the Twin Towers were destroyed by means of “controlled demolitions”; that members of the New York fire department were ordered, on instructions of the CIA, not to talk about it; that the FDNY conspired with Larry Silverstein to deliberately destroy building 7 at the WTC. No plane hit it and it was the furthest building from the twin towers. It collapsed at 5:30pm, falling perfectly symmetrically in 6 1/2 seconds.
His testimony in that video is quite awesome, especially the part where he said that the explosions in the basement lifted the floor on which he was standing upward. That happened a while BEFORE the plane hit the tower.

On June 8, 1967, a date which will live in infamy, a United States ship, the USS Liberty, was suddenly and deliberately attacked by naval and air forces of the State of Israel. Thirty-four American sailors died and 174 were wounded. There was no retaliation, no honest investigation, and no assistance from American forces. Israel got away with cold blooded murder.
On September 11, 2001, planes struck the two WTC towers, and shortly thereafter both towers fell. But did you know that a third large building also collapsed on September 11 at 5:20 in the afternoon and that this building, WTC 7, wasn't even hit by a plane? What could have caused such an unusual collapse, which had all the characteristics of a controlled demolition? Again, there has been no honest investigation.

Photographs were taken by aiming the camera about three feet ahead of the car, and clicking the pic when the rocket motor made its "SSSSSSSSSS!!!" noise. 
It took about 1/2 second to travel 50 feet. I think calculations showed that it hit around 200 mph. :-D

Just after Christmas 2005, I saw some shows on Public Access Television in Duluth, MN, regarding 9/11. One of the best was titled, "Hijacking Catastrophe: 9/11, Fear & Selling the American Empire".
Roger Ebert reviewed it on October 15, 2004... and gave it 3 stars (out of 4). It charges that America is in the hands of radicals at the right-wing extreme of the Republican Party, and that the invasion of Iraq has been a goal of the NEOCONs, as written in their "Project for the New American Century" since the early 1990s. It chillingly said that it would be hard to sell a pre-emptive strike on Iraq to the American people, unless a "catastrophic event -- like a new Pearl Harbor" made it SEEM necessary.
The movie charges "that the neocon insurgents envision an "American colossus" that stands "astride the world," makes its own policies and disdains cooperation with the family of nations. We went into Iraq without U.N. backing not because we had to, the movie argues, but because we wanted to; it was a good way to weaken the organization. By the same token, budget deficits are useful because they will bankrupt programs such as Social Security and Medicare that the neo-cons oppose but cannot destroy through conventional legislation."

Young mother who survived the Pentagon Attack is now suing Cheney, Rumsfeld and others:............................................................................ 07/15/2009 - April Gallop, a survivor of the Pentagon Attack on September 11, 2001, is now suing Cheney, Rumsfeld, Myers and other officials for their possible role in the attack and, having been notified that the plane was 50 miles out, 30 miles out, 10 miles out, etc., for failure to evacuate the Pentagon.
The lawsuit cites Flight Data Recorder Analysis. Pilots For 9/11 Truth has analyzed Flight Data provided by the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB). The data does not support the government story. The first launch didn't go straight up... it needed an elevator adjustment. The next launch it flew perfectly: straight up, slight time delay, the motor ejected from the built-in ejection charge, then the elevators angled slightly up, it made a loop and then settled into a perfect glide back to earth. I dunno how high it went, but it glided a heck of a long way. After a good walk,I got it back ok.
