Austin Homegrown has been playing in Austin, Texas and the Central Texas Hill Country since May 2005. The band started as two bartenders with guitars known as Shithowdy! After about a year the guys found a rhythm section and became a four piece now known as Austin Homegrown. Austin Homegrown's sound blends Rock, Blues, and Soul with a dash Reggae and Country. Members of the band include Zack Hruska on lead vocals, rhythm guitar, and harmonica. Paul Leeman plays lead guitar, steel guitar, and sings backup vocals. Providing time on the drums is accomplished percussionist "Rattlesnake" Dave Littrell. Russell Roberson brings the funk on bass guitar. Check out our calendar and come see a show! SHITHOWDY! Just a good way to say hello!

Hey, Paulito... I"m checking the MS for the first time in months. I did not know that Kevin was your bass player for a while...we went to St. Ed's together, and we had German stuff together. He's a cool guy...good guitar player! Speaking of---when are you playing next? I still haven't made time to come see you, but my best friend and I love to check out music together....are y'all playing some time soon? Later-- Shandar
