Poem 162 of 230, WalkaboutsVerse (please see my blog): TEES TO TYNE: FIRST IMPRESSIONS - SUMMER 2001
Where traditions are not so rare; Sea, country and works scent the air; A multitude of monuments, Planted tubs and patterned pavements.
The longish pedestrian malls; The remnants of defensive walls; Historic buildings are a gauge Of the respect for heritage.
Wheat, rape and pines in the fields; Estuaries guarded by shields; Long sandy beaches and wide scenes; Romantic-ruin go-betweens.
Rivers in parts licked by trees, Or fringed by boat clubs, wharfs, gantries, And crossed by practical delights - Varied spans, forming pleasing sights.
Fine churches headed at Durham; Football kits ad infinitum; Kept castles - one for study; Masonry behind masonry.
And, with moulding-works out that way, It’s somewhere for a longer stay..?

We hope you're going to participate in the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 Oslo! It'd be fantastic if you'd be there, because if you are there, you'll win, it's sure. So the first important thing is that it's about time you got ahold of your country's public broadcaster/TV. Then, your entry song (lyrics and music) mustn't have been commercially released and/or publicly performed before 1 October 2009. The next thing is that the maximum duration of each song is three minutes (BUT if your song is longer, you can make a Eurovision version, so that cut to 3 minutes.). It's also important that each performance may consist of a maximum of six people on stage. No live animals shall be allowed on stage. Artists shall perform live on stage, accompanied by a recorded backing-track which contains no vocals of any kind or any vocal imitations. If you had question, please go to http://www.eurovision.tv/page/help-faq
WE'RE REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO WATCHING YOU IN THE SPRING OF 2010, OSLO, IN THE EUROVISION SONG CONTEST!

Hey. Just got your CD "Cant Make Me". How the hell do you guys play so fast. Especially Jozsef on the Cimbalom through out, and Atilla's guitar work on Csango Menyhart. We were dancing around the room so hard, the downstairs neighbors beat on their ceiling with a broom handle.
If your ever in San Francisco, we would love to play support for your show.
