Shorelines End is a band from Dallas, TX and in a very short time SLE has made it's way onto the industry radar with several Major labels and Indie labels expressing sincere interest in the band. Shorelines End recently signed with TQ Management headed by veteran manager Tommy Quon (Vanilla Ice - Capital; Blessid Union of Souls - EMI; Marcos Hernandez - TVT , Forever the Sickest Kids - Universal & Red Car Wire - Universal). Tommy was personally responsible for the 17 million records sold that launched the career of Vanilla Ice in the early 90s, as well as other acts on his Dallas based Ultrax Records Label and TQ Management.
In September of 2008, Shorelines End also caught the ear of Mega producer/Grammy winner Kevin Beamish and recorded a 3 song demo with Beamish in Nashville. Beamish has Produced/Engineered/Mixed over 100 Million record sales worldwide, from Heavy Metal/Pop/Country/R&B. Some Artists he has produced include Reo Speedwagon, Saxon, Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Kenny Chesney to name a few...over 40 Number 1 and Top 5 singles in America in the last 12 years. Beamish was also presented in September 2006 with a prestigious 25 million album sales award for Americas' hottest country act, Kenny Chesney.
Since then, SLE has showcased for key music and media decision makers at major music conferences such as SXSW in Austin, TX and as part of the Amplify Music Conference in Las Vegas, NV. In addition, SLE has also solidified several corporate sponsorship deals and endorsements with Dickies, Elixir Strings, Gibson, Dean Markley, Willian Rast, Factory Metal Percussion and Ourstage.com, as well as being a Featured Artist on several high profile web sites such as Purevolume, Alternative Addiction and AOL Music
Furthermore, SLE's single "Surface" was recently placed on the FMQB "The End of Summer 2008" Rock & SubModern Rock Sampler CDs, which was serviced to hosts across the country, along side bands such as: Saving Abel, Anberlin, Cold War Kids, Plain White T's, People In Planes, Flobots and more. Shorelines End is the Only "unsigned" band featured on the Rock samplers. In June 2009 SLE signed a production deal with famed A&R Jeff Blue, which spawned SLE's newest single "Barely Breathing". Blue is a longtime music producer and A&R executive, who is currently an A&R consultant for Sony/BMG/Jive Records and a songwriter signed to Universal Music Publishing. Having worked as Senior VP A&R and Staff Producer for Jimmy Iovine at Interscope and Clive Davis at RCA/J Records, Blue is well known for discovering and signing Linkin Park, Macy Gray, Korn and The Last Goodnight. He also co-wrote Hoobastank’s latest single “So Close, So Far.”
Shorelines End has performed and headlined all the top tier venues in Dallas including the Granada Theater and the House of Blues, and the band is gearing up for a Fall 2009 tour, so Stay Tuned for more details. TQ Management Agency is pleased to announce the official signing of Dallas based rock band, Shorelines End with Island/Def Jam/Mercury Records, a division of Universal Music Group.
The official announcement was made last night (11-23-09) at a sold out show with Shorelines End performing with Train at the House of Blues/Dallas. It was an exciting evening for Shorelines End to perform with one of their favorite veteran bands!
Shorelines End members include Patrick Alan, John Gomez, Ryan Patrick, Justin Burns and Jonathan Burns. The band is honored and excited to become members of the Island/Def Jam/Mercury Family.
Signed by Mercury A&R, Evan Lipschutz, the album will be produced by Jeff Blue (Linkin Park, Macy Gray, Better Than Ezra) with contributions from Shorelines End and other writers to be named
on the album. Dan Friedman is entertainment attorney for Shorelines End that worked the deal.
