"All the best elements of outsider music and girl-group pop thrown together in one beautiful mess"/ "The Shaggs and the Langley Schools Music Project get signed to Motown and create what is universally considered to be the greatest music ever together in the past, then come forward in time and infect Natalie Rose Bradbury in a dream" - Tom Whyman

Fieldhead (UK) music delights in tape hiss, bleak landscapes and decaying analogue loops. He is also a member of The Declining Winter and Glissando. His debut album, "They Shook Hands for Hours" is released soon on Home Assembly.
Cool, thanks! Maybe you could write a review for your blog or zine too? I really want to raise the profile of Jamboree. And yes, Lunch sounds super lovely. I'll drop you a text. Hope to make your party tonight too, though I'm feeling a bit under the weather (icky colds going around...). I'll see how I'm doing over the next few hours. Kyle xx
Haha, that video of us in Carlisle looks so fun! I need to repair my accordions, the straps have snapped on the both of 'em. Have you spoken to Dom about this e6 night I'm doing? I've been practising the saw loads recently, mainly because all my other instruments are in some form of disrepair...
Yeah, I heard about the Preston radio thing. Cool! I'm really sad that I won't be back in Manchester in time for the show at Andrew's house. But he and I are gonna be planning another Jamboree for later in october or maybe early november. Let me know who you'd like to see play!
And New York's been amazing. Had two gigs here, done the touristy stuff, stayed in a really cool Hostel, met tons of interesting people, hung out with Major Matt a little bit. I'll give you the full story when I see you, which will probably be in the next few days. I'll need a day or so to get over the jetlag, but we should hang out sometime next week. I'll text you when I'm back in Manchester.
I've really missed running Jamboree these past few months. I'm all fired up and ready to do it again!
Hi, thanks - I'm pleased you like my art! Yeah it is good at Rogue, the studios and views are amazing. I'll definitely look out for the printed version of your mag - I'll find it somewhere! x
I'm back in manchester on friday. Should make the doris gig on tuesday. Not sure how my money's holding up, so I might be back in Manchester for awhile, or i might jet off elsewhere! Either way, I want to set up a Jamboree in October ... it feels like so long since I've seen everyone. It will be good to play in Manchester again, I have new songs too!
You should definitely play some gigs on the antifolk scene in New York when you get chance. I closed with a cover of Beat Happening's Indian Summer and everyone danced and sang along, and the sound guy even joined in on tambourine.
So yeah, there will be a jamboree in october .... more details soon!
I'm still in New York at the moment, but I'll be back in Manchester for a bit next week. How's things with you? I've had one gig whilst I've been here, and one more to go. Much fun! K xxxx
Trespassers William (Seattle, US) are the duo of Matt Brown and Anna-Lynne Williams. "Subliminally sublime and pragmatically perfect, you would have to possess an ashtray for a heart not to feel this coursing through your soul" (DSD Music Magazine). A new EP, The Natural Order of Things, is set to be released on Gizeh Records. They will make a church performance with special guests.
Glissando (Sheffield, UK) “have the kind of atmosphere that can captivate and relax in equal measure- never before has tranquillity sounded so urgent. While track lengths of over 10 minutes may fail to hold the attention of the ADHD sufferers among us, with patience it plays like a majestic dream. And it's one you'll never want to wake up from." NME
