BIO:
Burlington Vermont based rock trio Silent Mind has been creating quite a stir in the Northeast. After years of touring, the band has settled into it what has become an original power rock trio with the ability to bring an exciting and powerful energy to any crowd or venue. By crossing modern and classic rock, the band creates a sound that is tight, sincere, and heavy hitting which they have branded “Collage Rock”.
Recently, the trio has been touring and hosting a series of special events to celebrate the release of their debut album “2012 Here We Come” released in November on Chakra-5-Records. The record has been a great success with impressive disc sales, fan requests, and attention from regional media. The recent success has proven Silent Mind is a major player in the music scene and shows no signs of slowing down.
Silent Mind is lead by New Jersey native and Berklee College of Music graduate Jamie Bright on lead guitar and vocals, Jon “sizzle chest” Rizzo on smooth bass, and Boston boy Jay Baskowski holding it down on drums. Together the three make the most of every opportunity, making friends and memories at each and every show. Their antics and openness is contagious and their musicianship and professionalism is respected. Silent Mind uses music as the tool that connects them to the audience in helping to create a euphoric mental state for the audience as well as themselves, where problems disappear and the only thing that matters is making the next moment as good as the last… we call this “Silent Mind”.
