About SILVERGHOST

Silverghost is a two-piece male/female-fuzz-analog-pop-outfit from Detroit featuring ex-Von Bondie guitarist/vocalist Marcie Bolen and keyboardist/vocalist Deleano Acevedo. The group’s first 7" was recorded by Warn Defever of His Name Is Alive and released in the fall of 2008. Having only formed in March of 2008, the two have already toured extensively in the Midwest and played shows on both coasts, including a packed performance at the Cake Shop in NYC and a high profile gig at the F Yeah Fest in Los Angeles. Silverghost recently finished their first 4 song EP in February 2009 which was recorded with Sean Lynch of 800beloved in Milford, MI. Also in February of 2009 they played a series of dates with the well known newly reunited garage rock outfit the Murder City Devils along the West Coast.

Bound to Be Heard	Jun 1 2009 7:49 PM First Annual Garageland Music Festival to Be Held At Local Art Gallery Local production company assembles two day festival that combines original music and shopping. Traverse City, MI (May 22, 2009): Bound To Be Heard Productions will host the Garageland music festival at the Inside Out Gallery on June 19 and 20. Detroit based Rock ‘N’ Rummage will present a unique twist with their travelling caravan of American Pop Culture debris. This true alternative garage sale is paired with a perfect blend of local and regional musicians.
