    Latest News: On October 1st, 2012, on the 44th anniversary of George Romero's Night of the Living Dead, Asheville space-rock band Silver Machine released Silver Machine: Night of the Living Dead, which consists of a standalone concept album accompanied by a complete remastering of the 1968 film with a new soundtrack composed and performed by the band. The DVD edition features the highest picture quality ever released on DVD, as well as the original sound score on a secondary audio track. Digital downloads of the album include a download of the film as well. The album in its entirety can be streamed for free at: <P> www.silver-machine.net <P> <P> Formed in 2008, Silver Machine spent the first three years performing around the southeast at festivals and clubs, developing their unique sound, and releasing their first studio album. Their self-titled debut was released in 2010, and their first live album was recorded at the Autumnal Equinox of that year – during an epic four hour set! <P> <P> In June 2011, Silver Machine decided to launch into outer space on their own bachelor-pad space craft, equipped with a state-of-the-art recording studio.
