Sounds Like
Often referred to as a cross between No Doubt and Led Zeppelin, Simone continues to break convention with their own style. Influenced by the underground Detroit scene as well as the post-pop alternative sounds of Amsterdam, Simone remains in a class all their own.
'Strong riffs, hooks and melodies make Simone a highly-listenable band' (Miramar Management), but it is the energy of the live performances that Simone is best known. Sharing the stage with bands such as Driving The Fall, Anyone's Guess, Selby, One Fall Away, At Cliffs End, Pellets On Target, Stranded and many others, Simone exceeds expectations.
Known for their live performances -- "[Simone's] got the look, got the voice, got the songs" (Steve Gilmore, Rebel Riffs), Simone tours throughout the US and Europe. Their music has charted on GarageBand, StereoFame, OurStage, NoiseHead and Imeem, and their independent release "Temporary Heaven" was awarded the E.A.R. (Excellence In Audio Recording) award in 2007.
If there is one band that you follow this summer, it should be Simone.

What she hasn't got is a record contract so what is wrong with this
picture??"
- Steve Gilmore,

"(Simone) "possesses a high quality voice and true talent at writing
intelligently conceived catchy songs""
- Rick Grant,

"This award is presented to area artists not necessarily for one
particular recording, but rather for an over all body of
excellent work. And this year's winner is one of
the best around."
- Christopher Long,
Brevard Live
"It (Hello From The Sky) kicked in, grabbed my attention and never let go!
- Ron DiFabbio,
Garage Band
"Simone's stunning vocal range combined with her songwriting prowess
made me take notice. She impressed me as a strong, determined woman
who has found her reason for being."
- Rick Grant,
Jacksonville Times
"If I was a label, I would sign you!"
- NuDepths, Des Moines IA, Internet
"Sign me up for the fan club, the song is great, and your voice is
out of this world!"
- User,
TheSixtyOne
"If a top name producer like Don Was got a hold of this girl
she'd be huge!"
- Christopher Long,
Brevard Live
