Thanks for bringing the groove back to NYC last week, mate. You were a fucking animal on Tuesday night! Fucking aces ... Can't wait for the new disc. Cheers & take it light, brother.
Hey Simon: Saw you in Vegas on the 26th; AMAZING GIG! Your energy was infectious to watch. The band was in top form, despite Nick's few guitar-related hiccups. On the whole, was better than I could have ever imagined or hoped for since the band brokeup in 1999. Love the new songs and can't wait for the new album in August. Best wishes to you and the rest of the band in recovering from your short North American stint.
Si, you are the most amazing bassist of our times and Nick is the most amazing guitarist of our times.
I can't wait for your new album. I read/listened to the interview in which you described it as the band's best album and Nick said the same thing in the interview at Coachella.
You look like you're having an awesome time at the gigs--I especially dig "Sit and Wonder".
Also, cheers on the live version of ANS. Absolutely phenomenal, genius work. I wish I could add it to my profile, I've been listening to it obsessively.
Good luck with the rest of your touring and maybe I'll finally get to see you guys if you do another tour close to the Midwest (STL).
You killed me in Vegas. Sorry there was no outside opportunity to shake your hand & such. I hope the North American leg of your tour has gone well for you guys. I hope you come and visit Los Angeles, once that Coachella clause allows you to play out here. Have a super evening, over there!
WHAT AN HONOR IT WAS TO MEET YOU!!!!! holy hell! check out the photo. can you tell i can't hide my excitement. How great to hear Gravity Grave and Man Called Sun. And I must say the new songs are just unspeakably amazing.
Just wanted to thank you for one of the best shows of my life. Vegas was nothing short of amazing. Already There? Wow. The new music was a treat! I can't wait to hear the studio versions. Seattle is waiting.
Masterful gig, absolutely brilliant (Coachella). Yes I do wish there was more from Northern Soul and ASIH, but dammit mate, you fucking nailed those songs. And oh yeah, the new songs. . . out of this world, I think the closer was the most rocking piece I heard at Coachella. Here's to a new record soon Si!
The Vegas Show was AMAZING, the Verve, in my mind, are one of the greatest bands. The new songs are great as well. Thanks so much for playing a show near the L.A. area. All the best to you guys.
What a show last night! You guys were on fire. Thanks so much for making my first Verve concert a memorable one. Please come to Boston when the album drops.
