Here it is ALL or NOTHING – my first full-length album. After leaving New Zealand for Los Angeles; recording a demo on Orcas Island, Washington; and then ALL or NOTHINGin Sedona, Arizona I now find myself living on the quaint East-Coast island of Manhattan.
In short, the path from New Zealand to New York went a little like this: I stepped off the plane from New Zealand (originally my home) and into the perpetual sunshine of Los Angeles not knowing what to expect, armed simply with my first recordings and my guitar. My aim was simple: I wanted to create powerful music. My plan, despite my best efforts, was still suffering from a serious case of non-existence.
No sooner had I discovered the sweet liberation of driving on the right-hand side of the road (woohoo! just like they do in the movies!), than an earlier contact with Lenedra Carroll, former manager of singer/songwriter Jewel, opened the door to a whole new leg of my musical journey when she selected me for her Artist Advance project and began to offer career guidance. Now, in New York, the ALL or NOTHING phase begins.
