Do you have any old photos, bootleg audio, flyers, video, etc. of the following bands?
Sinatras Sleestacks King Tammy Twister Goldstar Fortune and Maltese LKO Triplemint New Real People
If so, would you be willing to share them electronically? We at Leppotone Electrical Recordings HQ are busily working on expanding www.leppotone.com to incorporate more history of the label and the kazoo “scene” and would love to see whatever you’ve got. We’re discovering that the musicians themselves tend to be less-than-thorough record-keepers and there’s not much material to work with around here.
We can’t offer you anything but love in return, but isn’t that enough? I understand it’s what makes the world go around.
Any interested parties should respond to nmclaughlin@gmail.com or or amysult@yahoo.com .
For any of you old-skool Sinatras fans that might have missed it, this very nice website did a great feature on the Sinatras a while back..... [url]http://www.gloriousnoise.com/features/2006/glono_interview_the_sinatras.php[url]
Karl,
Thanks for coming on the Nonchalant Cafe today. If you or the Sinatras' fans are interested, I posted a portion of the interview on the Nonchalant myspace profile. CLICK HERE Cheers
I have "Tater Tots Again" and something else on some old and ancient tapes but how do I get this stuff on cd?....keep rotating the songs....It's bringing back so many memories! (and use the download option so I can burn them ..lol)
Hey I've loved the Sinatras since I was a lad. I remember that song Lousy Neighbor from when Fletcher played with Ron, i think it was maybe when we both opened for the first Dead River Drag show, the song always haunted me and i dont think i heard it again till right now, anyway i'm happy we're friends here now, bc
