Single Frames' newest release slated for 01/22/2008 is the first in a string of EP's, each planned for online release every four months. Check back often for release dates, new songs and tour info.
Single Frames' release "Everything Wants To Be Used For What It Was Made For" is a collection of remixes and demos
spanning the last five years of the bands existence. Tracks from Single Frames debut release,"Wetheads Come Running", follow up Burn Radio Airtest EP
and last years "Body/End/Basement" LP have been remixed by the likes of Nick Zinner, J-Mprint, Creepykid and more.
While collecting remixes the band was also in the process of transferring years of 4-track recordings into a digital format for preservation purposes
when the idea dawned on them that while their remixes and demos sounded like polar opposites of each other, sandwiched together on a Single Frame
release, they would be feel right at home.
Where the remixes usually yield to the dance floor, the demos seem to work best in seclusion. Demos always seem more intimate a working sketch of an
idea not yet polished up for larger consumption, but privately available to a selected few.
Well, friends you are the few. Hopefully you can find the pleasure that was put into this release and secretly share a track or two with your closest
friends or nearest DJs, if you feel the need.

Indeed. I love your music so much! I don't know it you remember me telling you, but I saw you at warped tour I think it was in San Antonio or maybe Kansas City, but I loved your set, the first time I ever heard of you, and I remember you saying something about hating being on that tour(I would too because I'm not a pop punk band either) it was funny and I have all you albums and I've loved you ever since. I wanna move to Austin so bad. Its such a great music and theatre scene there and no one plays covers and they're all mostly creative. I went there and partied for three days last summer in this real hippie bohemian area and had the time of my life. Sorry for the long comment, but it flatters me that you leave comments on my page. I started my own record label. Its hard work but I'm progressing slowly. I want to make this label my career. Please check us out (www. myspace. com/newdoublecreekrecords)
