Singleton - an indie rock band from Kiev, Ukraine!
Singleton formed in the end of 2004 after Alina found missing pieces for her new band puzzle. Originally with Monya on drums Singleton started with four very experienced young musicians all of whom had their own colorful musical history.
From the beginning the band worked hard not only to find its own voice, but to establish a decent community to support local indie bands influenced by britpop heroes. Quickly emerging as one of the most stylish and talented local bands, Singleton promoted british sounding guitar-driven rock among Ukrainian youth in cities across the country. With their demos circulating on the web, and songs leaking on the radio, the band was invited to play a string of shows in Moscow and St.Petersburg, Russia.
In the end of 2007 Keks replaced Monya on drums, and with a bag full of melodies the band got ready to conquer new horizons.
Currently Singleton, which enjoys cult following at home, aims for recognition in Europe and plans to seal it with a debut album packed with kick-ass indie hits.
