5 guys set out on a mission to bring groove to the world. Fresh out of Northern Colorado, Six Reasons To Run's members are no strangers to the music scene. All members have been in other bands and have played numbers of shows on their own. Each decided their bands were not what they were looking for and moved on. Jesse met a deathcore band, Infekted, at a local show(although they weren't playing). He informed them that he had recording equipment and was capable of recording any songs the band had put together. During recording, Jesse noticed that the drummer, Levi, and rhythm guitarist, Austin, played guitar in a way similar to his liking. Later when Austin quit Infekted, Jesse recruited him to start a new revelation of music called "groovecore" with him. Austin decided that the groove wouldn't be complete without his longtime mentor, Levi. Levi happily joined, aching to play the guitar once more. Jesse called his old bassist, Scott, from a former band to come groove with Levi and Austin. Scott was more than capable of playing anything Levi and Austin threw at them and was ready to bring the funk to Six Reasons To Run. Scott knew of an insane deathmetal drummer that could play beyond most people's imagination. He called this drummer, James, and he warmed up to the band right away. Being as technical as he was, he had to learn some simpler techniques to add to the 'groove' equation of Six Reasons To Run, but this was no problem at all for the quick 'unlearner.' Groove is being established every day at Jesse's house as the band's first EP is in the making. 5 bastards + 1 mission = Six Reasons To Run
