Movies
I like most Indie and Foreign films,Comedy, and movies set in the 40s and 50s. Too many to mention but my current fixation and recommendation if you haven't seen it is Last of the Blonde Bombshells.
Television
Don't watch much tv except for The L Word, Dexter, Big Love, and the Discovery channel when they don't have sucky reality type shows. LOVE Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations and Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern although he can be a bit annoying. Really wish they'd bring back Dead Like Me.
Books
Biographical books usually catch my eye. Last book I finished and enjoyed was Kate Remembered, about Katherine Hepburn. Also love Marilyn Manson's Long Hard Road out of Hell. I especially loved the photography.
I guess I'm more of an Encyclopedia type of person.
How do you define a hero? I could never say I had a hero but I admire the women of the 40s and 50s, my grandmother for all that she has overcome in her lifetime including being shot in the head, and all islanders because we can live through anything.
Well, I'm a Hawaiian gurl raised on Guam and let me tell you there is no place like the islands. You don't know the true meaning of ohana/familia until you've lived on the islands and I will never forget my roots. I'm fun loving and can't stand people who think they're all badass and have no respect for others.
I have a handful of faithful friends and hundreds of people I've met over the years and I love you all. Keeping in touch is always a little bit difficult for me but I really do think about all of my friends and acquantances all the time. That's probably why I'm terrible with last names.
Ok Now that that's been said I'm not here to cyber or looking for a relationship or achatmak. I am happily married and plan to stay that way so if all you are looking for is a propect then I'm not it. I am also not a Jesus freak so if u are and planning on talking about nothing but Jesus, God, etc etc then don't bother trying to chat or add me as a friend. I totally respect people who feel they have found god/religion or whatever but it's not what I'm about.

I have a slight addiction to shoes and collecting dvds. Ok shopping in general and a certified eBay junkie.
People say don't judge a book by it's cover which is true but I sure as hell have a good time decorating mine!
I'm into body modification (not plastic surgery) and hope to one day run my own business although that may be several years off. Right now I have 5 single tats and a 3/4 sleeve. I keep adding to them and eventually I will tie them all together into one big piece. Doing it a little at a time cause let's face it...tats can be expensive and I don't really want to put myself into debt. I have stretched my lobes to 5/8" and will probably go up 2 or 3 more sizes before I am satisfied.
Haircolor? Well, I change my haircolor and style all the time. I just can't leave my hair alone. Currently, shoulder length and black. I haven't quite given up my betty bangs. I seem to have a problem keeping the scissors away from my head. Now that my job won't lt me do my funky colors I have to get creative with the black.
My husband Clint and I don't have children of our own yet so right now our children are our cats. My 2 girls Sophie (black with a white spot on her belly) and Daisy (all grey). We also have 3 fish....now I want a dog!! :)
We bought our first home May 25th, 2007, and just love it. It's still weird to realize that we are actually in our own home considering we've lived in apartments all our lives. We are working on renovating our basement and main bathroom at the moment. The worst part of having a house is not being able to get everything I want done...NOW! LOL
As for travel....I want to tour the Catacombes of Europe, maybe a few castles (cause I'm goth like that hahaha). I want to visit the Pere-Lachaise cemetary (famously noted as the resting place of Jim Morrison) as I have heard of some truly beautiful and original statues and headstones. There is also a grave of a man (can't remember his name right now) who died in a lovers duel and instead of being buried he was bronzed on the spot and thus preserved on a slab as his tomb. That's what I call going out with style!
Who I'd like to meet: old friends, anyone who doesn't try to cyber, tattoo enthusiasts in my area, people from the islands. I dunno.
Famous people? Well I'm not much for celebs but I'd probably like to meet Bettie Page, Marilyn Manson, Emma Thompson, Rupert Everett, Sean Connery (cause he's such a hottie even though he's ancient), maybe Metallica or NOFX, and possibly Santana for a guitar lesson.
