"Skinless Battalion are a slightly inexperienced band but don't get me wrong, they are shockingly good. The 4 college boys Scott, Mathew, Jason and Andy apparently decided that they wanted to make a metal band in late 2008 and in their own words "put together our musical influences and came up with what we believe is real metal." Although I myself can have no opinion on what 'real metal' actually is I can honestly say that these youths might one day be close to what they recon is that.
Already in their short lived career of musicians they have played at such venues as Rios, The Fenton and Subculture (all in Leeds) and have gathered a little following of their own. They're Myspace labels them as 'hardcore/grindcore/death metal' but they've also thrown in different types of music to make them who they are; which is why I don't like saying that they make 'real metal' because in my opinion they're just making 'real music'."
This band was made by a bunch of guys in college who wanted to make a good sounding interesting band, we put together our musical influences and came up with what we believe is real metal.
We all come from around west Yorkshire, we formed in late 2008 and began planning out the band going through different ideas and people to get what we want! We finally found that we could easily work on hardcore/grindcore/death metal really well and thats why we are here today.
