The Skinny is a knee-slapping, tear-jerking, foot-stomping crowd playing not-so-traditional folk and bluegrass sounds, and loving every minute. These
pickers combine sweet harmonies with dobro, banjo, guitar, fiddle, mandolin, accordion, ukelele and a rockin bass line, pulling you in 'til you wanna pick up anything that makes noise and play along too.
hey were you guys able to get tickets for that Devil Makes Three concert last weekend at the Plough? I would have totally gone to that but the tickets sold out so quickly! I noticed you're playing at the Nomad next week! That's awesome! I will have to try to stop by for that!

April 6 TWANG CAFE (every 1st Sunday) w/ Trainwreck Riders - rare acoustic set! Kemo Sabe - bad-ass, bare-knuckles bluegrass The Skinny - happy B-Day Tanya! @Epic Arts
TWANG CAFE: Good-bye Tom Wegner, you will be missed! Tom created an amazing Americana show. The Twang Café is a unique and fresh show. It's a great place to discover new bands and to see some hot local favorites. Epic Arts is a very intimate and homey space - think "house concert" with beer, wine and snacks. It's all volunteer run! I am proud, honored, and thrilled to take over the Twang Cafe and I will do my damnedest to keep Americana/roots, aka twang, alive-n-kicking each and every 1st Sunday of the month.
Come on down April 6th for Tom Wegner's big good-bye party and help celebrate Tayna's (of the Skinny) birthday! We'll have lots of goodies; drinks, food, snacks, and cake...on top of Tanya's cake will sit Tom's cake...a double-decker of creamy fun.
