AKA Kent Wood. Played in various Boston bands no one's ever heard of and had a great time doing it! The sHrugs, The Projectiles, Barking Brains, ThunderKitty as well as an all too brief but fun stint with the Art Kritics of Springfield MA. Also played guitar a while with the adorably glorious Sugar Twins.
Now I'm married with children to my ThunderKitty drummer. (Hey, when ya find a good drummer, ya gotta hang on, ya know?) Twin boys, Taiga and Kuga, born on 1/4/2006.
As for my musical future, who the hell knows. I'm having fun playing producer on my PC (Tracktion enthusiast) and writing songs. Where it all goes, no one can say, but things are percolating along...
Um, it's been almost a yee-ah since we sedd HI...how's things musically, and of course, with da family? Things good here - just got kicked out a band for being too old (really - I received a call from the leader saying, "AH, we're gonna take a different, younger direction" - no freaking kidding). Anyhoo, I was at the WBCN Rumble finals with a "DRUMMER WANTED" ad duct-taped to my back, with the little pieces ya peel off on bottom, and they all got pulled (ok a few were from friends ;) However, as I'm standing at front waiting for the band I know, the Dirty Truckers, the drummer from the first band the Luxury comes and stands next to me, where I congratulate him and he laughs up a storm ... he just took a job on a Hawaii cruise ship for a year as a drummer on board. Guess What, The Luxury wins and I might haver a gig at Paradise in July for their next record release party!!...keep tooned and in touch...laytah.
