When just 3 years old Skit Slam was pictured on the cover of an England newspaper rocking a Mic. , from then until now what we saw was a boy who turned into a man and never left the path he was destined to walk. His roots stretch back to Jamaica but Slam was raised in the United Kingdom where his passion for music would turn into love. The love first manifested when Skit began dancing through out the Eighties and won various competitions , but it wasn't until his family moved to America in 1990 that Skit properly learned to rhyme and began terrorizing open mics and showcases across the country. His skill grew at a rapid rate grabbing the attention of many fans and emcees a like, among these emcees were a group called Scienz Of Life who gave Skit his first chance for the whole world to hear his voice. Skit was first featured on their first 12"inch ( Nine Ether Remix) single on Hip Hop icon Bobbitos legendary Fondle 'em records. Soon after Skit made an appearance on the Scienz full length album Coming Forth By Day and then their Strange Fruit Ep which was released on Subverse Music, a label owned by Big Juss half of the legendary crew Company Flow. Later that year Skit was offered a deal of his own on that same label and came out with his new group Everliven Sound, the vinyl 12"inch single was called Prophecize The Coming and did exceptionally well in the U.S. and over seas, it also did wonders to establish his name as a mainstay in the music industry. In 2001 Skit began his own record company Freedom Entertainment and independently pressed 500 vinyl records of an Ep he and his brother/partner CyMarshall Law recorded in the previous months. They group traveled the U.S. promoting their Everlution Ep and created a definite buzz. In 2002 Skit would take a trip to the U.K. and record a whole album with a group named Phi-Life Cypher, the album came out in 2003 on Zebra Traffic an up and coming Hip Hop record label out of Great Britain. Since then Slam has been recording new music at a rapid rate as a solo artist and also with his brother and partner in Everliven Sound CyMarshall Law. Skit Slam is the emcees Emcee a man who's love of music is unmatched and skill on the Mic. has yet to be rivaled , unlike many other emcees, when you hear Slam cut through a track a smile comes across your face and you instantly know who it is, Skit Slam. .. .. .. .. .. ..
