Hellcake	Nov 21 2009 12:48 AM it's not really improvised. certain things change every time i play them, but that's just how it goes i guess. basically when i record a song, i'll do the keyboards and whatever else first, then i'll do about 20 takes of drums until i find a take that i like. then when i mix the song down i always keep a version of it without the drums to use as backing tracks for the live show. dig? so yeah, basically it's keys first, drums second. although i did do "savage distortion drum face-off" with certain exact things i had in mind for the drum parts. i hope that any of that made sense. hahaha. thanks for the kind words duder.
