As far as cuteness and my chosen mode of address are concerned:
...True, I COULD have wrapped that compulsive little expression of delight (which escaped me rather suddenly... and PERHAPS against my will and better judgment...) up in some sort of fancy packaging and pompously granted you a noxiously unctuous expression like: "I declare! What a delight for my eyes to be blessed with the vision of such an exceptionally congenial conspiracy of Light, Color, Texture, and two such empyreal and effulgent physiognomies!"... But THAT would have been ridiculous. Silly. In Bad Taste.
And... In general, I like to get to the BEEF of the matter, and especially so when things of such importance (cuteness and cool people) are at stake, so I just say it how it is. Cute. That's all there is to it (though my bro. may protest, and insist on something suggesting more "grown-up-ness"...[all the while being secretly pleased]...).
In a way, my choice reflects the LATEST EVOLUTION of complementary language, having divested itself of ALL of the outmoded relics of formal address and come to the real matter at hand. A kernel of truth in a sea of silly fancy bits.
...If, in having come soooo far, this evolution leads back to the most basic truths in a loop, then So Be It. Cute.
And it was pretty damn poetic of you to have described the two of you as "intellectual poetry in motion". Awesome.
