Most people know me as a solo player and that will always be my main thing BUT I also work with my band THE SOUL BASTARDS. A bunch of sensational players. Nicklas Brännström-bass, Niels Nielsen-guitars/keyboards/noise, Krister Persson-drums and Gustav Pettersson-drums that I team up with for concerts with nothing but original songs.
On occasions I also enjoy to work with different "pick-up" bands in a more tradtional blues style.

I grew up listening to Jerry Lee, Chuck Berry and Fats Domino and that might have put the mean R&B in my blood when I was just a small kid.
In the late 70..s and early 80..s I discovered Ramones, The Clash, Dead Kennedys and whole Swedish punk scene. I guess I always been something of a misfit so I just fell in love with the whole thing and started my first band as a 12 year old.
During the late 80..s I lost it for a while but somewhere around 90/91 I discovered delta blues and Son House, Charlie Patton and Robert Johnson.
That was it. Since 1994 I've been driving alone around this mean, cold country (Sweden) playing my blues at clubs, festivals and wherever people want me to play. My blues just getting rougher and I guess I'm nothing but an old punk trying to play them real deep blues.

Trevlig Nationaldag med massor av skön musik! Hänger mest på Fb numera. Fick ihop ett band tillsist. Två utsålda gig i sthlm och nu väntar Peace&Love. Men innan dess hoppas jag fånga dig på Wirströms. Ha det bäst!

Skivan är inspelad och klar, så det är kul. Har flängt lite fram och tillbaks till USA förra året och lirat lite. Vi får se om det blir något i år. Ev Georgia till hösten/vintern. Har nu spelat in en lite piggare låt. "I'll Be Fine" ligger äntligen uppe för lyssning. Jag har också lagt upp en videoupptagning på "And why did I let you know I love you" från livespelningen på Saliga Munken 30/4.
