Slim Lightfoot plays blues infused music be it a down home old style delta tune via Son House to a rip roaring Electro like garage blues, taking along a Howlin' Wolf lick or two to liven up the brew or even an accordion to drive the groove. The four tunes available for download are evidence of this and showcase an everlasting regard for blues music without sounding too derivative or contrived.
He has supported such acts as Andre Williams, The Black Keys, Jason Ringenberg (& The Scorchers), & Jem Finer (The Pogues) and can be caught either in a solo capacity thumping his much maligned Stomp Board or with The Backbones who thicken up an already big sound.
Slim works the streets, the bars, the clubs, festivals, private functions, even an odd tune finds its way on the radio or TV (BBC1, CH 4 & Radio 2) as well as countless stations in the States. Himself and the band are available directly for bookings, so if your feeling brave and have the currency, get in touch because this is his life and living and he wants to keep on keeping on and bugging you with his blues infused music.

The budget of the festival and the number of bands will be based on these presales. Please support the festival and help us bring in as many bands as possible.
We're featuring bands we like on our player each day. At least we're trying. The myspace player isn't always cooperating. Try selecting the alternate playlists. We can at least give you links to the bands myspace pages or websites.
These are bands that we hope to get involved with our festival. There's a lot of them. Check them out and add them as your friends. Send us a message and tell us how you like them and who we should be sure to bring in for the festival.
Thank you kindly Slim. I think that we must surely book you for our Blues club before too much time has passed. Yours guinessandjamesonselly, Mean Uncle Ethan.
How are you man? Gonna check out your space as it's been ages since I have....your dirty blues warrants much more listening methinks.

The song is pretty surreal so don't try to hard to find some literal explanation behind the lyrics I guess the main idea behind the song was to take two different songs and splice them together!
