::: That's enough! Xmas depressions made us do something about the lack of intel regarding the band so let's get to it from the basics: The ABYSMAL TORMENT concert in Brno aced!!! With a slight delay we're obliged to thank to all those who supported the action and created such a great atmosphere and persuaded us about that it's still worth invinting the passer-bies to the Moravian butcher metropolis.
::: The fast you get, the fast you lose. So could be briefly characterized the situation around the second guitar player Alf. Most of you didn't probably come to that something's going wrong when we still played in four even after half of the year after announcing the SF have a new member. The prob's like this: Alf got to work and it paralyzed him so much that he stopped to communicate in any way and eventually decided to concentrate on his own project TUONI. We are truly disappointed by this result but still, we wish Alf as well as the rest of his band good luck in the further activity!
::: Concert in Prerov rounded up exclusively! May Paul be the example for all organizers as the base for bands was truly respectfull. By this we thank to Paul and wish many such perfect-resulting actions! In the same way we are glad to have been able to stand on stage with our favourite bands and folks of JIG AI, PSYCHOTIC DESPAIR and SPASM, last but not least we thank for the massive merchandise sell! Really fine action!
::: Concert in Trnava did its best though the slightly worriful journey (when our car broke down after haf an hour in operation and we had quickly hunt for a new one) put some adrenalin back into our veins. APOCALYPSE feasts have had a long tradition and a high standart so we are glad this time it worked out. Super organization, atmospere and even merchadize sell (that we sold-out in here)! Thanks to Klypso and regards to Trnava fans!

::: On 1st - 3rd September we will enter the Bzenec Studio Shaark to record 2 songs for outcoming split 7" EP with
CUTTERED FLESH, which will be released under
PIGEON SHIT agency sometimes in autumn 2007. To be concrete, we will record a brand new song called "Spawn To Evanesce" and also a secret cover- song. The layout as usually will be designed by
Matej Simek & NUKE design who is momentally working on finalizing the website of
TRANSLUNARIA.
BIOGRAPHY:
Band title Smashed Face is relatively of a new date, even when roots of beginning are dated back to year 1997. The band seeks for style and also for a new name. Former names were INTERRUPTION, PARRICIDE (unfortunatelly this band title already existed in our country and also in Poland) and DETHERIA. In the year 2001 after Fred (voc) coming, the group renames to Smached Face and changed it..s style to thrash/death. Demo CD has been recorded with the title "Invaze".
After this recording leave was taken with establishing Olin because of disagreement in music production. After compulsory pause comes as a new guitarist P.A.T., who leaves his main band Absurd Conflict soon. Production of new compositions is influenced by brutal deathmetal. We are participating at ALL METAL MORAVIA TOUR no.I. during March 2003. Our live concerts appearance is more frequent. Our expected demo is not coming out because of an offer to produce debut album of companies RADIATION NOISE PRODUCTION and NICE TO EAT YOU RECORDS. We are taken in as a forerunners of NEURAXIS, DEAD INFECTION, DISGORGE (Mex), DEAD BY DOWN, SQUASH BOWELS and BEHEADEAD. In July 2004 there is coming out new debut album "Human: Earth Parasite". The debut receives an unexpectedly warm welcome from the listeners and the band now stands as an apt representative of the Czech scene both at home and abroad. In two years, SMASHED FACE played more than 70 gigs together with bands like VOMIT REMNANTS, DEAHEADED, GORATORY, INSIDIOUS DECREPANCY, INFECTED MALIGNITY, SKINNED; in autumn 2005 they enjoyed a successful European tour with WASTEFORM and INSIDIOUS DECREPANCY, and then in spring 2006 a tour in Ukraine with local brutal heads DATURA. In summer SMASHED FACE feature at OBSCENE EXTREME and BRUTAL ASSAULT festivals. June 2006 is set as a date for the relase of their sophomore record, which is much more brutal and more hardcore and grind sounding at the same time. The CD comes out in glossy cradboard outer packaging with an extensive and originally designed booklet inside. The band support the record on a succesful Czech mini tour with French INHATRED entitled THE FACELESS tour; the shows are the last ones with the drummer Pavel, who is shortly after replaced by Lukas (also DEAD INSECT COLLECTION). This makes the band's line-up the strongest to date …
