Smiling Politely
The band consists of Duane and Dave Keogh, two brothers who have
carved a distinct musical presence across Canada, the USA, and the
greater part of Northern Europe over the last few years. Touring 8 - 9
months out of the year at major festivals, concert halls and clubs with
Maximum Music/Universal Records recording artists The Town Pants,
the two seize every opportunity to perform their particular style of
acoustic melodies whenever they can.
Smiling Politely perform a wide variety of music in their live show, no
artist is safe and no style is left behind. Johnny Horton, Jack johnson, Pearl Jam, Louis
Prima, The Killers, Foo Fighters, not even TV theme songs are safe from being
dusted off and let loose with no concern for the consequences. The set list
is nothing if not completely unpredictable. Described as "A rib-tickling
romp of bonfire songs gone right"!
***We'll be playing EVERY SATURDAY in December(except for Dec 13th) at the Village Tap House in the Park Royal Village, West Vancouver, BC.***
Hey Guys! I miss you! I have left Syracuse and am now living in Alabama.... so it will be quite some time before I get to see the Pants again. I hope all is well! Erin
The songs you guys have on here are great. Very different from TTP but very good. As a New Yorker who's never been to Vancouver to see the shows i guess all there is to say is...CD? :D Have fun.
Only one more week left!??? I can't believe it!! It's been a good fall/winter run of Smiling P shows, guys. Not quite sure what I'll do without my weekly fix!
hey DEWAYNE@!
Great to see you guys still at it...
times aren't exactly "awesome" in the live music scene currently but we just got to hang in there...
I also noticed all your "Friends" are hot young girls... all my "Friends" are old dead blues guys...
hmm...
Hope to see ye soon.
