.. When Smoking was created it was supposed to be just a blues cover band. Everything got better when we mixed our influences and started writing and playing our own music. That..s when we changed our name to Smoking Underdog. What comes out is a result of the music influences that every single one of us has received. Some of it is sort of blues-rock but still having a psichedelic and funky mistique. We never tried to mix our genres. Todo se hizo mejor cuando empezamos a componer y a tocar nuestra propia música que es resultado de las influencias musicales que ha recibido cada uno. Ahi nos convertimos en Smoking Underdog. Sin tratar de encasillarla es algo como blues, rock con mucha psicodelia y funk. Nunca nos propusimos hacer nada distinto o mezclar géneros.
