Hi! Thanks for stopping by my page here in the vast virtual world of MySpace!
I'm a writer of horror/suspense fiction that often has a supernatural element to it. My novels include In the Wake of the Night, The Reaper and Snow Hill, and my short fiction has been collected into the print anthologies and magazines of Shroud Magazine, Morpheus Tales, The Sound of Horror among others; I'm also co-editor (with David Montoya) of Winter Frights.
I'm a writer that has been on a few bestseller lists, such as Amazon.com and BN.com. I'm a 2007 Preditors & Editors Award Finalist for my acclaimed short fiction, Phil's Place. And recently I've been in magazines on both sides of the Atlantic.
I hope you check out some of my work; you'll be helping support a new author and you just might like the book, too! Okay—the most important part is you, Dear Reader, liking the book.
I'm also an Active Member of the Horror Writers Association, member of New England Horror Writers and a board member of Southern Horror Writers.
Thanks for stopping by my page here on the infamous MySpace. Also, feel free to drop by my web site—www.josephmcgee.net

Copy of lyrics for a Song that North Head wrote for me about losing my friend ... Thought I would share.
Snow Angel
Merry Christmas and I’m all alone…Laid my back down on the snow Made an Angel so you would know…That I have left but I’ll never go
Christmas Eve can be so cold…The memories that never grow old Said goodbye to me and there’s one less soul…so decorate your tree with the grief you hold
You don’t have to laugh tonight You don’t have to smile all the time But when you think of me don’t cry I’ll always be right by…your side
Guitar Solo
There’s one thing I want but I don’t dare ask…I know that Santa won’t bring you back All the holiday cheer won’t change the fact…there’s no more presents for you to wrap
You don’t have to let me go Just hold on tight and our love can still grow I’ll find a way let you know Like an Angel under your window In the snow…
My world is a sad, lonely place without one of my best friends in it. Thank you, "Protector"; as I know you are my guardian angel now. I miss you terribly. Maggie Borneman
A trigic loss to the writing community, and to all that knew him personally. Joe touched my heart with our many conversations and I mourn his passing deeply.
Very sorry to hear the tragic news about Joseph. The writing community is truly a lesser place without him. :( R.I.P., Joe. And my thoughts and prayers go out to Joe's family.
I've never done anything like this, but for anyone who doesn't know, Joe passed away on Thanksgiving. I only met him in person once, and we exchanged comments a few times on the HWA board, but I think it says a lot about him that his last blog on this site was about a charity he was working. I think he really had his priorities in order. God bless.
It was a pleasure meeting you and publishing your work. You will be sadly missed. I wish you peace and joy in your transition to the next life. Your talent as a writer enriched many.
