    SnowTrax's Interests
General The World the Universe and Everything.
And, more specifically, My world, My universe My everything... And he works with me on the videos!!
Thinking, walking by the sea, reading, gardening, art galleries, langauges, travelling, digital and web art, writing, poetry, people, ceramics, making pottery, creating web art, making music (mostly for my ears only!), dance (watching it and reading about it), digital choreography, birds, flowers, cloud formations, stars, politics even!! comedy, circus...
Like I said; The World, The Universe and pretty well Everything.
Books Every house needs books. They are so useful for those beds with uneven legs.
And they make for good insulation when you have plenty of wall shelves packed with them!

I also read them: all sorts...Novels, Poetry, Non-fiction, Plays.
And I used to buy and sell them.
So I know a lot of titles and authors.

But it's what's inside the covers that counts.

About me:
SnowTracks Productions is Jenni Meredith and Tony Meredith.
You can see Jenni's other MySpace pages with some more videos
by clicking here, (www.myspace.comjennimeredith).
And her music account with downloadable MP3s is at (www.myspace/wordsart).
If you'd like to browse some more of her soundfiles, artworks and flash poems etc., you can find these at her website www.wordsart.co.uk

Jenni Meredith has lived in Essex since 2000.
Her text based work, often reflecting her experience of disability, has been broadcast on Radio in England, Italy and Greece and published in magazines, anthologies and multi media and print collections.

In 1995 she was awarded an Arts Council grant to produce an animated poetry video, 'Through The Pane'. This video has been screened in festivals throughout Europe, including Feminale, Cologne, Serving Suggestions, Edinburgh, Noi Gli Altri, Turin, and won a special prize there in November 1998.

This was the first of many animated and experimental videos Jenni directed and produced in collaboration with her husband Tony, who is a sculptor and cartoonist.

In 1999 She was awarded an Arts Council Digitising Disability award, which allowed her to learn about audio and MIDI software under the guidance of mentor Richard Burns.

Jenni and Tony Meredith have produced almost twenty animated shorts; many are cartoon narratives taking a humorous look at some serious issues and others explore moving image techniques and new ways of presenting textscapes.

Jenni's commissions include hypertexts, an interactive web based artwork, 'Transmutations', a CD Rom of interactive visual poems, 'A Rising Rain', (web version coming soon)and placements aboard P&O European Ferries as ..Poet on the Boet.. and aboard DFDS Ferries from Harwich to Denmark and Germany. She has worked in schools and in hospitals creating poetry installations and has screened her experimental videos in unusual spaces, such as the top of a 100 foot water tower.

Her Data Dance video was one of the fifteen selected projects at the Monaco Dance Festival in 2002 and Data Dance ..1; Information Migration is currently exhibited on-line as part of the VideoChannel 'Image v Music' Festival. The link for this is here, (Video Channel). The lnk to Data Dance ..1 is down in the middle of the list. You can find a highly compressed version on Myspace/jennimeredith.

So if you would like to preveiw the original resolution, visit the Videochannel link.

And if you would like to read more blurb about Jenni, find the interview online at Videochannel here.

Jenni has worked on performance poetry projects with live choirs and virtual choirs of robot voices in projects funded by The Arts Council of England, Sound Sense, Millennium Trust, County Councils and others.

High Five New York

Video documentation of a performance piece by my friend Nate Kassel who rode around on his bike slapping high-fives to people who were trying to hail taxi cabs in NYC. Enjoy!
