Our major label debut was in 2003 with the Elektra Records release 'Where You Are' produced by John Kurzweg (Creed, Puddle of Mudd). The first single went top 10 on the billboard charts and was track number 2 on the CD titled "Down". We hit the road as support for Seether, 12 Stones, Default, Taproot and others. Our second single "Everyone" made it into the top 20 on the charts and we sold over 100,000 CDs. We went to the MTV studios, performed on Last Call with Carson Daly and we also were on The Orlando Jones Show. Crazy stuff dreams are made of. At the end of the year, the tour bus rolled back to our home, Blountstown Florida, and we started writing our 2nd record. During the time we were working on the record, our label folded and 80+ bands were without a label... including us. So, we recorded the record with producer James Wisner (Dashboard Confessional) in Orlando and turned it over to be distributed via Fontana/Universal Records. Prior to the release we did a short tour with our friends Blue October. We then wrote a song for the 20th Century Fox motion picture "Supercross" which is out now on DVD. That song is also on our new release "The Beauty of Letting Go" and is titled "Get Out Alive". Shortly after the new CD came out, Brandon left the band, Irock (our new label) folded, management dropped us and we couldnt afford the tour busses or road crews - but we hired a drummer and hit the road in a van on a 3 month tour opening for Sevendust and Nonpoint. We took a short break and then went out on our own 3 month headline tour of the U.S. followed by a month of supporting slot shows for Candlebox, Blue October, Vast, Alice in Chains, etc. The touring ended at Floyds Music Store in Tallahassee August 26th, 2006.

I guess whoever said that lied to me. But last I knew, you all still had your skin intact. So you guys need to stop being so silly, get your asses back together, and make that beautiful music again.

I didn't say this when I wanted to, but I'm doing it now. Your music got me through some difficult points in my life and anytime I need a lift, its the first thing I turn on. Thank you for existing. :)
Hey Guys! I just thought that i would drop by and say HI! I was in the car the other day and decided to put your cd in. It still amazes me how great bands leave such a lasting impression on people and then all of a sudden their gone. I still hope that one day you all will start writing again and get back out on the road.
Hi! I bought your album by accident when it first came out.. I thought it was something else but it was already opened when I found out it was the wrong band... but it was actually a blessing in disguise... I've never listened to one CD so much in my life.. I used to listen to it going to sleep, when I woke up,when I was driving, even when I was in a bad mood and wanted to be lifted.. I still find myself listening to it all the time.. It's truly what some people call music to their ears..It's definitely music to mine...more then just music.. Music that gives me goosebumps.. I'll miss it..
i suppose asking you to come back would be a waste...so i will say dont come back, stay gone... in hopes that you will do the opposite, cause people like to do what they are told not to do :) feable attempt i know but i had to try
Saw you guys opening up for Seether at the Rave in Milw...I still listen to your CD when I party in the basement...Good luck with your future projects...
do you know a man by the name of Skyler Ernest??? he claims to be your cousin and that he wrote cold nights and gave you the rights to the song...just wondering
I just red so many comments to you guys and I must say, obviously theres more people than me who feel you guys touched there hearts. It hurts when bands like you guys and still naive break up. you guys are what keeps my mind and heart at peace.. I will keep wishing you guys will get back together. Neil and chris, you two need to let go of all the bullshit and mend the broken pieces.!! I will always have love and respect for social burn and I just hope you guys can get over the hump, and get back together.. social burn will not be forgotten.
YALL SHOULD JUST SHOCK THE SHIT OUT OF EVERYONE AND BUST OUT WITH A FLOYD SHOW SOON......IF I CAN AFFORD TO SHOW UP AT FLOYDS YALL CAN BECAUSE IM BROKE AS HELL!!! lol
