I have quite a diverse taste in music for a cow. When it's a sunny day I like to lie down on the cool grass with my ipod and listen to The Killers (I try not to think too deeply about the name!), Hard-fi, Richard Hawley, BWO, New Order, Pet Shop Boys, Bloc Party, A-ha, the now defunct Suede, various one off singles by bands like Klaxons, Editors, Reverend and the Makers, Just Jack, etc and some forgotten classics from Donna's youth, like Since Yesterday by Strawberry Switchblade and Clouds across the Moon by Rah Band. Seal's new album is a return to form, too.

Sunshine, The Lives of Others, Wong Kar-Wai films, the Three Colours Trilogy, Herbie the Love Bug and sequels, Capturing the Friedmans, A Scanner Darkly, Existenz, Primer, Amelie, City of Lost Children, Delicatessen, The Conversation, The Usual Suspects, Magic, Minority Report, Little Miss Sunshine, Batman Begins, Hitch-hiker's, Silent Running, Spirited Away and other Studio Ghibli films, etc etc .

My Parents are Aliens (release the series box sets please!), CSI:Miami, (I've gone off the original series, but David Caruso makes me laugh), Heroes, The Shield, Columbo, Life on Mars, Smallville, The Prisoner, Dr Who (with Christopher Eccleston) The Second Coming, Arrested Development, Captain Scarlet, any of Michael Palin's travelogues, Powerpuff girls, Judge Judy (ironically of course), and many others which will no doubt come to me as I post this...
Books
1984 is great. I also like good science fiction - Philip K Dick was brilliantly screwed-up and wrote great books like 'The 3 Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch', 'A Scanner Darkly', 'The Man in the High Castle' and I like 'Now Wait for Last Year'. I have even been known to enjoy SF anthologies from the 50's, 60,s and 70s.
