NEW ISSUE RELEASE DATE: DECEMBER/JANUARY 2009
SOLAR ANGELS is an experimental web-journal devoted to the creative arts as an expression of humanity's quest for meaning and reason in this world. The journal will be published on an irregular basis and cover interviews and reviews of artists, thinkers, doers and creators of stuff that we enjoy! To give you a quick idea of where we come from, here is a list of things (in no particular order) that have influenced us and that you may or may not see more of in future issues of Solar Angels:

Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, Kiki's Delivery Service and My Neighbour Totoro by Miyazaki Hayao
The work of J.G. Bennett
The music of G.I. Gurdjieff and Thomas de Hartmann

After years of trying to figure out what this world is really about, I have come to agree with J.G. Bennett that there must be a reason for our existence. Everything else seems to have a reason for being here, so why not us. What, I don't know, but I think that by walking and persevering on the path we have chosen or been put on, we might eventually find an answer. Solar Angels is about living and expressing ourselves, to release creative energy so we can make new discoveries and aquire even more energy, more life force, to better serve humanity and the world. This is the motivation for doing Solar Angels. That said, I hope Solar Angels will present a wide spectrum of music and related arts for your enjoyment!
