GINO, 35 years old, is organizer and promoter of SONICA FESTIVAL.
Veteran about psychedelic music gatherings, he begins his active partecipation since 1990, immediately keen on acid-techno frequencies of that age.
In 1993 he buys his first desks technics-1200, after been collecting a large vinyl archive and, in collaboration with other promoters, Gino organizes several parties in Naples, his native land, with famous artists from London and Detroit underground scene.
After a pause, gone-by 1996 to 1999, travelling throughout Sountamerican as well as Oriental cultures, Gino comes back to psychedelic scene attending all the last best events of the globe. His dancefloor-driving experience melted with his professional know-how in communication and management led him to project and create SONICA FESTIVAL together with other partners from Rome, where He lives since 1998.
Gino plays his natty dj-sets in many international festivals and clubs. His style is an harmonic fusion of old techno frequencies with the more contemporary psychedelic ones, creating a unique and innovative electronic music trend can be called "Psygressive". Gino is usually able to present two different dj-sets, according to perform on open-air stages or in indoor clubs, switching from a selection of acid pumping sounds at 140bpm to a deeper and rolling dimension at 128bpm.
Gino released CHACRUNA on December 2008, his first VA Compilation on Echoes Records, a leading and reputable label from Israel and he's actually compiling a new one called SONICA RELOADED.
He will be constantly traveling around the globe to share the Sonica's positive vibe and its world of electronic music with party promoters, travellers and freaks ;-)

As this term implies, it is an beautiful but also an adventurous tour that awaits the listeners. On the contrary of cheesy standard melodies, these varied tracks put the idea of Trance in a nutshell and distinguish themselves by forcing power and deepness. While most of them represent the creativity of South Africa, also material from Brazil, Chile, the UK and Germany is included.
