About me:
Hello, my name is Brandon (of course you already know that), I moved up to Flagstaff last year to continue my musical studies at NAU; I know, I know, NAU is not well known for its music program but I figured if I am just going to get a B.A in Music Flagstaff is a much nicer place to be than Phoenix. Well as I sort of alluded to earlier I am a musician and composer; my primary instrument is guitar, though I also play piano, bass, as well as do a little bit of singing. Actually, the song you are listening to right now was written and recorded by me; my brother and I write and compose music in a group we call Chirality. In chemistry the term chiral refers to a molecule with two mirror image enantiomers, they actually refer to these as the left and right-handed sides of the molecule. My brother and I thought that because were are mirror twins the name fit well. In addition to writing and recording our own music my brother and I have done quite a bit of work down in Phoenix for a somewhat small studio where we did producing, recording, performing, arranging, and just about everything else you can think of for local bands, short films, and small theater projects...Anyway, I am a junior now at NAU, I attended SCC before and through a beautiful process of "laundering" credit hours I basically obtained credit for all of the music theory and composition classes (all the way to the senior level) by going to NAU rather than ASU.
Anyway, some of my other interests include, physics (yes, physics) and electronics; at this point I still contemplate going for a B.S in Physics instead of music. Also, last but not least retro video game music, I am heavily into the Japanese composers that worked on games for the NES, like Castlevania 2, and Mega Man 2 (just to name two favorites). Other than that I have built and serviced computers since I was 11, though I guess that is no big deal as many people can do it.
Of course there is a lot more to me than just this blurb, I will add to it when I have more time; thanks for stopping by.
