..Roll over, Beatles! The greatest band in the world has a new name: the Cynicals! Glued together in 2004, their powerful sounding punk rock/cabaret pop has jumped obstacles and broken barriers. Straight out of Portugal, they bite on landlords and bosses and will push whoever blocks their way. All of this with a pint of elegance and class left over from their greatgreatgrandfathers. Currently looking for a lead singer, the guitar player JRebola holds the screaming functions. Their debut E.P “I didn’t kill Rock and Roll (… so it must have been you)! is coming out as soon as you can say “motherfuckers”! Formados em Outubro de 2004, the Cynicals são sem sombra de dúvida a melhor banda de punk rock/cabaret nacional. Juntaram-se para levar aos ouvidos dos incautos um rock despretensioso e fluido, e à mente uma mensagem do mais pretensioso e satírico. Um complemento aparentemente imiscível mas inevitavelmente agradável. Tipo vodka melão. As letras têm um papel crónico e crítico à sociedade e estilo de vida ocidental, conseguindo aliar a subtileza a um género musical que vive do óbvio. Em 2005 gravam uma demo de 4 temas e logo captam a atenção do público. .. Em 2006 vencem os principais concursos de música moderna nacionais, o que lhes valeu a actuação em importantes palcos nacionais bem como a gravação do aguardado E.P. "I didn't kill rock and roll... so it must have been you!" , finalmente disponível... Em Março de 2008, a banda e o frontman JMacias seguem direcções diferentes.
