Painted Sun Records releases Songs for Laura Volume One. A benefit CD
to raise funds for cancer treatment dedicated to Forest Sun's mother,
Laura.
"Laura left her body feb 17th..two years later than the doctors said
she had to live. She died at home as she requested. Dressed in her
finest garments and jewelry, holding her lovers hand as she took her
last breath. My brother and I got to spend a week with her in the hospital and say goodbye. She couldn't speak but i know she could hear. I brought my
guitar and we sang her favorite songs. I played her the Songs for
Laura CD every day. She is a courageous and beautiful and powerful being...and she will be missed."
