Son of Sandlar is a family owned and operated company. Sandlar comes from the Hebrew word for cobbler. Simon and Arik Helman, representing the fifth and sixth generation of cobblers, design and manufacture footwear utilizing knowledge passed from generation to generation. Ok, had to send along some appreciation. I just received the boots I special-ordered and am very, VERY happy with them. I broke them in during a weekend stage combat workshop and out of all the other body parts of mine that may have been in pain, my feet weren't among them. Excellent workmanship, and well worth the wait.
Got a pair of your boots last year and I can't say enough good about them. I've been haunting for many years, and this is the first time I've ever gotten through a season without sore or soaked feet. These boots are worth every penny I paid for them, and if I ever do manage to wear them out (not likely) I'll be back.

yes! And I am so lucky to get the first of several Sandler Boots to come at such a young age! Mom says that I will never want or need any other boots. Plus it's like you made those just for me! Purple is my favorite color and it matches my garb! Thank you sooo much! Now I have happy feet!
Thank you so much for the winter care instructions! It was actually dry today, and it was "jeans day" at work (I teach at an elementary school) and I wore them. I have the buckle boots; I removed just the middle buckles. I got compliments all day long from people on these boots. Not only that, but as a teacher, I stand and walk around all day long. Working with fourth graders, I never sit down during the day. It is now 7:00 p.m., and I am still at work because we are just finishing up having "Olympic" night, and I still feel like I'm walking on air. These are the most comfortable pair of boots EVER MADE, and I am going to wear them all winter long. I just wanted to make sure I treated them right, because I want them to last. It took me a long time to decide to spend the money on them, and they were worth every penny!

just got my boots the last weekend of the Ohio ren festival, and love them, they will definitely help! I can already feel the difference, they are awesome! :)
Thanks for the boots. I'm already getting complements on them and I havent even been to my LARP yet. Thats next week. I'm already thinking about getting a second pair. I bought the high boots this year. I'm thinking about getting a pair of button boots next year at Pennsic or a Renfaire, wherever i see you first.
