Miki Yoshimura, Johannes Marx und Stefan Weiß wollen es wieder wissen. Nachdem als Überbrückung zum Neuen Remixe einiger ihrer Tracks von 'Spiny Lure' (CD Album 2004) - produziert von Hometrainer, Jake Failrey, Das Pop und Olympic Lifts - erschienen sind, ist es Zeit für eigenes. Gut Ding will usw. - denn nach diversen Querelen, die das Leben mit sich bringt, verzögerte sich die Veröffentlichung des neuen Albums ein gesamtes Jahr.
Das Trio sieht sich als typische 'Indies'. Ihre Szene nennt sich auch 'Indie' - ohne dem Wort eine tiefere ideologische Bedeutung beizumessen. Bekanntlich kann in den Topf fast alles fallen, was nicht der gnadenlosen Medienkonjunktur verfallen ist. Pitchtuner habe die Möglichkeiten ihres Genres bereits vor fünf Jahren begriffen und bauten ihre Perfor-mance als Gratwanderung zwischen kommerziellem Dance Entertainment und indietronischem Niedlichkeitszurschau-stellen aus. Knackige 4/4 Kicks mit live gespielten Basslines und lebendigen Gitarren - Pop auf Elektronikbasis zum Anfassen: witzig, nativ naiv, exotisch - Pitchtuner leben es.
