sorry gilberto like melodies you can humm along by yourself, inbetween places, on an afternoon. its all about the weather, big citys and small towns and especially about the people, running around, trying to get a grip on something (or maybe on each other). these songs are shortmovies. somebody has lost the storyboard in the rain, so you can concentrate on faces, sudden movements and the strange guy in the back. if you are into instruments, give a hand to the lazy guitars, the squeeky organs, the swinging basslines, the stoic beats of the rodeo and the little casio. there are voices too. singing about things you already know. but hey: dont you wanna hear about them over and over again?!

COMBINEHARVESTER is Marlon Mc Neill. „I write all songs and usually play all instruments. I don‘t see my songs as rock songs in the traditional sense, more like music and sounds wrapped around little poems. Poems that may be as short as one line. One does not need many words to say what has to be said. One may see Combineharvester as a melting pot of all or some projects I‘m involved in, or the other way round: the source and inspiration to participate in all kinds of musical oddities.»

Hey jakob, how are you ? It's nice to have some words of u on myspace.. I miss you all, and our clever talks. We'll see us at the end of August, I can't wait !! All the best for you too. Kisses from the empty little kitchen
My noisey as sin, old testament experimental sludge-a-billy band is
playing with Karl Blau and Nino aus Wien MITTWOCH at Bang Bang Club,
Hackescher Markt.
Karl Blau is on K records. Lots of older hipsters have a K records
tattoo somewhere on their body. I had sex with a girl who had one
once. I think one of the The Sticks has a K records tattoo as well.
Even this guy sings about them.
Der Nino aus Wien calls his music Dadaist. Thats why when asked about
his new album sounds like, he replied, "Shoes". Pfffffffffft.
Anyway, the point is, if you dont wanna pay the full price at Bang Bang
club, you can come for cheap if you come at 11.45 just to see my band
tear the place to pieces.
I'm seriously addicted to your record... can't listen to something else! It was lovely meeting you. Come to play in Nantes next tour. See you soon. Tom
oh ja, perfektes wetter für nen freien Tag...wünsch euch schöne letzte Stunden hier auf französischem Boden und auf der restlichen Tour! man sieht sich irgendwie, irgendwo, irgendwann!
M:SOUNDTRACK presents: THURSDAY the 18th of JUNE @ 9 p.m. :: TUNA LAGUNA (Norway) + LIGER (Österreich) + BRENT ARNOLD (U:S:) + DJ Melody Burn
TUNA LAGUNA is a norwegian instrumental rock band focusing on immediate, catchy and groovy tunes. Some people have described our music as "post rock", and like many others that recieve that label we don't really know what that means, but what the hell. Lables are for jam jars ;) LISTEN: www.myspace.com/tunalaguna / tunalaguna.com LIGER is Dino Spiluttini, who played all kinds of instruments in the post-punk-duo Bruspi, hit the drums for the silly metal band Kniff17, currently also makes music as Yeah Pretty Boy and Duran Durandom and runs the label Beatismurder Records and Gernot Scheithauer, who played the Drums and other stuff in Barbarella Plüsch, Mimi Secue and is currently the awesome drummer of Marilies Jagschs band. they have played with acts like Carla Bozulich's Evangelista, Unwed Sailor, Rechenzentrum, Picastro,... LISTEN: www.myspace.com/postfolk
BRENT ARNOLD attacks the cello with fiery intensity and delicate subtlety, with an unconventional approach that often sounds like anything but a cello. He sings his genre-defying songs while fingerpicking the cello like a guitar, pounding it like a piano, or creating mysterious, electronic-sounding tones. His avant-garde yet populist approach calls to mind forebears like Tom Cora and Arthur Russell. He has worked with artists including Modest Mouse, Sleater-Kinney, DJ/Rupture, Lia Ices, Lenny Kravitz, & many more. LISTEN: www.myspace.com/brentarnoldmusic
