Out of the middle of nowhere comes SOULFORCE, a German DJ- and producerteam, that is hitting the music scene hard with its unique style of remixes, mash ups and productions.
Coming from a reggae & dancehall background, SOULFORCE found their own twist in bringing together their roots with other contemporary music like hip hop or bashment basement music.
In December 2005 the release of the ‚REMIX CONFERENCE 1’ alongside JR. BLENDER (Champion Sound/Supersonic) marked the beginning of the official SOULFORCE success story. Several tracks of the CD made their way to the German reggae charts and to London's BBC 1Xtra radio station and introduced the fresh sound to the United Kingdom. The RIDDIM magazine titled RC1 as the ‚Best Remix CD Of The Year“ and JUICE magazine got it in the ‚Top 20 Mixtapes Worldwide’ on no.15. Welcome!
From that point SOULFORCE went on and released several mixtapes such as JAY-Z @ STUDIO ONE , REMIX CONFERENCE 2 and 3, HECKERT EMPIRE MIXTAPE feat. RONNY TRETMANN, ORANGE JUICE BREAKS feat. TIPPA IRIE & STATE OF MIND 1 that all got heavy feedback from all over the world and established SOULFORCE as the No. 1 adress for Mixtapes in Germany.
As producers SOULFORCE worked with Artist such as WARD 21, TIPPA IRIE, DEFARI, BLACK MILK, TERMANOLOGY and several other highly anticipated microphone monsters.
Their remixes on the FIZZLE Label are all over the place in and 3 of the 4 vinyls went to the number 1 spot in the German Reggae charts (75% wtf!?!) and so they ended up on position 3 of Best German Producers in the RIDDIM MAGAZINE's readers poll in the year 2008.
Beside the music thing SOULFORCE is working on one of the freshest online stores and blogs in germany and they are concentrating on establishing a clothing line for hard working full and part-time hustlers.
