I fight it with her daily, i feel the lonley effects of an empty home,
but mommy dont stop what your doing im not here alone.
I go to school in a country where your a hero too,
because my friends think its pretty cool to have a hero like you.
I know you dont get the chance to take a bubble bath in war,
or to tell me and sissy to quit slammin the door.
Sissy and i decided that we would wait to take our bubble bath after you,
But as for the slammin door well that ones up to you.
Mommy dont you worry i learned to to the laundry really nice,
daddy is getting uste to pink underwear and stained ties.
Mommy i will let you go know, but only for a little while,
and when you look in the mirrior i hope you see me smile

Today a small town hero the children’s faces erupt with joyful sound,

Many ask what drives him to risk it all for the fame,
Fame he says is nothing it’s truly the love of the game.
Tonight he’ll spend listing to the gentle roar of the highway he’s going down,
But it makes it all worth it for tomorrow he’ll turn another small upside down.
Popcorn, hot dogs, and greasy burger stands,
The smell of the arena the feel of the dirt between his hands.
He feel’s most alive when he’s actually so close to death,
He can’t wait for the next bull out to get so close that he can feel his breath.
He known’s he cant save em all, today may be someone’s final breath,
But it won’t be because this painted hero didn’t give his best.

America seems to be fighting from every side to find itself within. From defending attacks from other countries to dealing with the effects of devastation after natural disasters. It seems as soon as the light begins to shine we are hit again with something that we were not expecting from behind. I believe this is the time in our country that we must stand together like never before and rebuild our country from within. Not only its structure but her moral as well. We have spent so many years tearing ourselves between party lines that we have lost focus on why our fore fathers came here in the first place. I know that as you read this you know someone who has been affected by the recent disasters or is in a world of hell right in your home town. Though you may not be able to help financially a kind word and a helping hand will go further than you could ever imagine. Ask yourself do you know your neighbor, do you know if their life is falling apart while you set next door un aware. Or maybe this has hit home for you, and you are the one in need, I am asking you to look within and become the nation we were created to be. The nation others want to come to not only for freedom but for a country that believes in those they live next door to and will drop all they are doing to lend a helping hand to another in need. I pray you will not just read this and move on, but begin to become the person others want to be. A man or women or integrity and friendship that others can count on.

i'm doing great! i have less than a year till i graduate from tarleton! and i was on rec crew at camp this past summer. it was a blast. and i have been dating a guy named jearen for 5 months (he was on rec crew too, which is where we met.) haha.
