Influences
Well I try to make music I like, so I guess I'm my own influence to a certain extent. I'm also influenced by the curve of the Earth, gravitational pull of the moon, distant memories of the Horsehead Nebula, dancing kitties, and darker regions of the human psyche.
Sounds Like
Sounds like taking a tenstrip of acid while sitting on the beach of a distant planet while watching the entire universe collapse. you know, really loud and fucked up sounding but with moments of tragic beauty and melody or something. basically, the doomier the better.
Not much to say. This is just mainly about a guy who likes to make music that pushes his mind into an introspective Hell. A lot of it is done with manipulated samples, but over time it has grown to include layers of guitar, drum machine, and soon to be synth. a lot of the songs are kinda long, so give them a chance to get going so you can get the full experience. i'm a big fan of the slow build and lots of layers.
I have a few releases for free download. "deconsecration" which is a sample laden, slab of doom, religious/anti-religious opus looking at faith and religion from many viewpoints. "release the drones" is a collection of various songs that go from psychedelic doomy to fun and groovy. "the lowlight of winter" is ambient, dark, yet melodical ode the the dark days of winter. "Hallow I & 2" were albums created for Halloween the past 2 years. coming soon is the 2 disc "astronautical" which is my ode to space, technology, and the destruction of man. so sit back and take it in, but remember the main point is just to enjoy yourself.

So far I've just heard the first half of the album but I really dig it. I love how you combine drone and ambient with all kinds of music like (what I've heard in it) fusion, trip-hop, classical, post-rock etc.
It's something I'm trying to do with my music as well but there's a unique approach in both our music. How would you feel about making a split in the near future?
