Sounds Like
A crazy combination of Punk Rock Relient K style, and Linkin Parkish rap/rock.
Special Delivery is a bunch of crazy punk musicians from the Detroit area. Originally forming under the name "Charis" (Greek for Grace) about 4 years ago, they found a unique sound by blending turntables and effects with punk rock. Now with the dawning of their new CD (self-titled), they're rocking out like never before. Bringing their fun energy combined with a tight message of purpose to the stage every time they play. The band originally formed a few years back. When Patrick Bossio, then a Senior at Allen Park High, hooked up with the drummer from their church, Mike Gilleran, and decided to have a little jam session. From that jam session came the realization they had something good brewing. They then brought fellow friend and guitarist, Mike French aka Frenchie, into the mix to rock out. With incredible jam sessions, and an overwhelming desire to touch the world with their music, the band was born. Starting out as a three piece band playing mostly Third Day and Relient K covers, the band began rocking out at local churches and venues. Then as time passed Frenchie felt the Lord leading him a different way. Thats when Charis stepped up and became a 4 member band with Daniel (Patrick's brother) joining as their new guitarist, Zak Ortiz (long-time friend) began singing and spinning it up with his BGV's and turn tables, and caleb vasquez jumping in on rythm guitar. Now, ages later, the band is embarking into new territory by stepping it up preparing for their brand spankin new CD, and a continually evolving fresh rock sound on stage. The Special Delivery crew is waiting to deliver their tight music with a strong lyrical message to you.
