About me: Speed Progress organisation was formed in 1999. by Darko Tumbas a.k.a. Dfndr and his friend Adam Vukmanov. Back then they organised small parties and had a show at the local radio station. The idea that started the whole thing was when Dfndr and his friends realised that they besides going to raves have the same ambition to get in music more seriously.
The first members besides Dfndr and Adam were Ivan Pivarcik a.k.a. Peewee and Horvat Arpad a.k.a. Hori. For a short time, Speed Progress made its first fan groups on the local music scene.After a lot of bookings Dfndr and Bojan Bozinoski also known as Dj Kibz (who also joined the group) became residents at local club Lifka, where they play with the biggest names on the global techno scene. In the begining of 2005. with the help from the latest member in the organisation (Serfeze Kornel a.k.a. Shirfy) SPEED PROGRESS RECORDS was formed.
The first release got good marks in local music magazines. Today Dfndr Kibz and Shirfy are still making music and going to partyes... The sound that can be heard when they are dj-ing is pure techno, from its minimal form to its harder and darker side. The saying of the grooup is "SPEED FUCKING PROGRESS !!!"

DFNDR Biography
Darko Tumbas was born in 1981 in Subotica ( Serbia ) . His first serious contact with electronic music was when he heard some tracks and mixes by Jeff Mills,Stacey Pullen Autechre etc ... In the summer of 1999 he formed the Speed Progress organization. The organization had a radio show at the local radio station , in witch techno music was played.
After Darko met with Dejan Milicevic and Marko Nastic , the love towards music blossomed even further , resulting in even more involvement in local music scene . With time Darko's mixing skills and music taste evolved in strange combination of hard bass lines and soft melodies , mixing raw European techno tunes with emotional tracks from Detroit . When he plays he loves to take people on a musical journey , taking them at the beginning , from soft minimal sounds to hard and relentless noises at the end of the night .
With Dj Kibz Darko was for 5 years resident dj in famous club Lifka where he played with Advent , Dave Clarke , Rush , Luke Slater , Space Djz , Umek etc...
In the begining of 2005 Darko with his friends started Speed Progress Records .The first release got good marks and comments .Today he is constantly in his home studio making tunes
