Henrik Kantola and Jussi Vuorivirta, formed a duo in 2007. Spiritus & Asper was born and soon full tunes began to materialize. In December 2008, their first completed production “Passion” was snapped up by Oulu based Wavedata Records, due out in June this year. As the momentum flowed, so did the label signings. With tunes set for release on Green Martian and Subtraxx, this young duo seem to be doing something right.
They describe their style as being “versatile”. If it’s Techno, House, Tech-House, Deep-House or Progressive… Spiritus & Asper can do it. 2009 promises to be an important year for the duo as the expectations rise. Keep your ears pealed… As you will be sure to hear their tunes working their way into a whole host of DJ sets.
