SpitFunk began their inexorable rise in Tokyo, way back in 1999. The Band has developed a unique sound entirely of their own; a heartful melody, recondite lyrics, big chorus, combination of intense groove and beautiful structure. After singing with the indie label Festa Trystar for their first release in 2002, SpitFunk became popular with their astonishing full-length album Delights (2003) and Will (2004). In 2004, SpitFunk was featured in dozens of magazines, and was voted Jazz Life Magazine's "My Best Album Of The Year" by well-known music journalist Takaaki Sakurai.
