SPLITTING ADAM BIO
Splitting Adam is a dynamic Canadian band that combines expressive, intelligent songwriting with a fresh British-inspired direction. Their music balances commanding grooves, lush textures, and contagious melodies, evoking comparisons to U2 and The Killers. With countless live performances, successful indie CD releases, growing radio support and songs licensed to NBC, the band is poised to break through in a big way. Their latest recording was produced by Jeff Dawson (Daniel Powter, Kelly Rowland, State of Shock, Holly McNarland) and is quickly garnering mainstream attention: "Lead-off track 'Sleeping With Strangers' is a pulsing, moody rocker that's ridiculously well-produced and played," raves The Province Newspaper. Splitting Adam’s thought-provoking music is well suited for mass audiences. Their live performances generate the electricity of stadium shows, as Seren's rich voice and charismatic stage presence firmly take center stage.
With influences ranging from vintage Bowie and The Rolling Stones to Coldplay and Jeff Buckley, Splitting Adam’s songs have been warmly received at radio stations across Canada, including Toronto's 99.9 Mix FM, Vancouver's 99.3 The FOX, Calgary's Energy 101.5 FM and Kelowna's 99.9 Sun FM. The band's extensive touring has covered live TV and radio, clubs, colleges, festivals, and charity concerts.

VANCOUVER PROVINCE REVIEW - by Stuart Derdeyn.
"So this guy who works at EA in the building next to the newspaper comes up to me in the coffee-shop line and says, "Hey, I play in this band, Splitting Adam, and this is our two-song EP. Can you give it a listen and tell me what you think?" Well, here goes. The lead-off track, "Sleeping With Strangers," is a pulsing, moody rocker that really reminds me of 1980s acts like The Fixx, Idle Eyes and others. The second tune, "Daylight," is more of a power ballad. Both are ridiculously well-produced and played. The singer is particularly strong."
