1990 : B.Lacroix received his first mixing deck for his 12th birthday. It was a very basic device. Still it enabled him to mix the several samples he created thanks to his tape recorders and his vinyl deck. New Beat music, Acid Music and hip hop were his favourite musical genres back then...
Today, after many years of musical activism, deejaying, productions and the opening of a record shop, he comes to us and presents his live project : SPROG, which is mainly inspired from all his early influences and experiences. The pitch of it is Techno sound-a-like with slight accents of minimal music.
1990 : B.Lacroix, pour ses douze ans reçoit sa première table de mixage, très succincte, mais elle lui permet de mélanger les différents "samples" qu'il a réalisés avec ses deux enregistreurs K7 et sa platine vinyle. La New Beat, l'Acid House et le Hip Hop sont alors ses courants musicaux favoris...
Aujourd’hui après pas mal d'années d’activisme musical, de djing, de productions, de programmations, de l’ouverture d’un shop de disques vinyles, de taches de ketchup sur tee shirt blanc… Il nous présente son projet live : SPROG, influencé de toutes ces tâches, et aux accents Techno, minimal.
