Spudd plays other people's, his own and, if they're any good, your tunes at parties bars and clubs in Glasgow. On the odd occasion he creates musickal tracks under the guise of Spuddbot and makes random improvised noises as The Grand Order of Skizzwang. Incessantly photographing everything in sight Spudd also enjoys to draw small, very random abstract pictures and make other things from them with the aid of a computing machine.
He welcomes most varieties of biscuits into his life and recommends that you do too.
Recently Spudd has been working on a project annoyingly called "A Particularly Practicle Particle", which uses real time loops and multi-track jam sessions to build up layers of sound and noise. From this he has amassed a number of tracks and may one day soon create a whole new myspaz site all of it's own to house these non-musicks.

We are very proud to welcome Rudi Zygadlo to the club this month for a special live performance. Recently signed to Planet Mu, Rudi injects skewed funk, wonky hip hop and polyphonic melodies into a glitchy dubstep sound that we can't get enough of right now, check out the tracks on his myspace: www.myspace.com/rudizygadlo
Residents are the usual two brothers and their mate with (almost) the same last name, we'll play a mix of reggae, dubstep, hip hop, jungle and I've been looking out a few wonky acid tracks as well.
Sound is once again provided by our very own system (below, photo by Spudd) and there will be some kinetic lighting installations by R.Thomson and ACD Ferguson as well..
THIS THURSDAY 27th AUGUST - NICE'N'SLEAZY - 11.30/3 - $2/3
This Thursday we welcome the mighty DJ Chakka Chakumaki down to our monthly at Sleazys bringing with him the finest dubstep in Glasgow and making his return to the basement after his own club there ended because the plates in the Loon Fung next door were rattling off the tables! We're doing our best to provide plenty of bass and will be bringing down our (as yet unnamed) rig for support - you can see it pictured below with Jerome behind the decks at the Midgefest free party (I think at about 10am). The usual residents Thomson, Thomson & Thompson will play an eclectic mix of Reggae, Jungle, Techno, Breakcore, Dub and everything else in between.
Ground shattering 1st release on Doppelganger Records by Galaxian. 7 tracks of sublime electro inspiration. Dark atmospherics, menacing basslines and creeping grooves combine to make this a future classic.
THIS THURSDAY (30TH) AT NICE'N'SLEAZY - $2/3 - 11-3
We are proud to welcome the return of Preston's finest, the mighty Neil D who gets behind the decks at Sleazys on Thursday (30th). You might have heard him before playing out a mixture of old school Jungle and DnB at THROB last year - if you missed that then check out his radio show on www.preston.fm (4-5pm every 3rd Friday of the month) or listen to his mixes at www.mix.dj/neild - sure to be a huge set.
Sound is once again provided by our very own 5k rig and DJs Thomson, Thomson & Thompson will be playing a deep mix of dubstep, jungle, reggae and a smattering of techno to whet your appetite for cheese chips and curry sauce at 3am.
The Fuck the Paint Away exhibition, organised by Ironbratz opens earlier the same night down on the Saltmarket so come down and check it oot...
