About SPUN IN DARKNESS

Spun In Darkness Is an old school death metal band from Las Vegas Nevada. The band was started by ex "Goatlord" drummer Jeff Nardone and guitarist Tom Giacalone in early 2005. The band finished recording it's debut album "Birthright" in early 2007, with now forrmer bassist Nick Otvos. Since then the band has added former "Doom Snake Cult" bassist Paul Brady, and a second guitarist Rene Hanpft. Spun In Darkness bleeds old school and is trying to keep the music pure. SPLIT WITH COFFINS

After many delays with various record labels, Horror Pain Gore Death Productions has stepped up and will release the COFFINS, SPUN IN DARKNESS split 7-inch this September. The split will be limited to 500 copies pressed on white vinyl and features artwork from veteran artist in the metal world Chris Moyen. A press release reads as follows: Raw and putrid old school death metal! Horror Pain Gore Death Productions has brought together a match made in hell for this 7-inch record: Coffins and Spun In Darkness. Japan's Coffins are firmly established as the new leaders of the underground with their horrific style of bonecrushing doom infested death metal that is reminiscent of AUTOPSY and WINTER, with elements of HELLHAMMER/CELTIC FROST. Las Vegas' Spun In Darkness feature ex-members of GOATLORD and bleed old school with their destructive, morbid style of pure death metal that is simply devastating.
